LFC-1 V2
Building upon the first LFC-1 Prototype, we designed an even better camera for large format photographers. This improved camera includes a combined rangefinder-viewfinder. This addition dramatically speeds up shooting and makes large format photography more accessible.
The design of V2 of LFC-1 takes inspiration from iconic Leica cameras. No pricing or availability has been announced.
The front panel of LFC-1 has the mounting points for our proprietary rigid bellows system.
On the side left side of the body is the spring loaded door for the film holder.
The rear of LFC-1 features the viewfinder, nestled in the upper left corner.
The right panel of the camera houses a removable hand grip with built in shutter release. This hand grip can be removed and replaced with other accessories.
The Rangefinder
Tucked into the upper section of the camera is the rangefinder mechanism. The rangefinder in LFC-1 is based on a sliding element design, common to many rangefinder camera designs.
0.5x Magnification 75mm Base Length
1m Minimum Focus Distance
4x5 Film
A key advantage of LFC-1 is the size of the film negative. Large format film offers extremely high resolution compared to the likes of full frame 35mm film. This means reduced film grain with the same great film colors.
